Beleive it or not I have used you tube before. there is some funny stuff on there. I really like Teacher Tube. We can send the students to a site to watch videos, and it goes back to them thinking they are having fun but are learning at the same time.This is a video that I found that I liked. My oldest son is a Civil War nut. Hope y'all enjoy it.

Unfortunately, Youtube is blocked in our district, but there is a way to "get" those movies to a place called Edublogs.tv and watch them from there. It's a shame really that we're blocking it right now because there are so many wonderful videos that can be used in the classroom, but there is also a lot of questionable content as well.
ReplyDeleteI do have a request though. I need you to embed the video from youtube instead of supplying a link for it. Go back to our page and look for the screen shot that shows the embed code to use.
